[vlc] VLC crashes

To whom it may concern,

What are you doing to VLC? The crashes during video playback keep getting worse and worse.
I can only change playback location about 4-5 times before the player crashes.
Sometimes it crashes by just moving the mouse above its surface without pressing any buttons.

A lot of times the playback of audio continues, but screen updates stop. You have to click on the player or just move the mouse sometimes to continue to see screen updates, but as you can only do that 4-5 times before a crash it is rather annoying.

Please work towards a STABLE version before adding any features.
