[vlc] Problem in downloading VLC for Windows XP

Hello reader, could you help: on this very computer (worked on second attempt on another one), I get the following messages and finally error:
"execute vlc-1.1.11-win32.exe ?"
on yes: 
"can't check the editor, are you sure?"
on yes:
"NSIS Error"  
"Installer integrity check has failed. Common causes include incomplete download - has'nt started yet! - and damaged media. Contact the installer's author...."
 
My antivirus is ESET Smart Security 3.0.710.0
