[vlc] Playback failure

Hi,
I have a 2-part movie on my HD which I wanted to watch but instead of the movie a box popped up displaying the following text:
Playback failure:DVDRead could not open the disc "F:\!DVDs\Movies\Europe\France\Public Enemy ".Your input can't be opened:VLC is unable to open the MRL 'dvd://F:\!DVDs\Movies\Europe\France\Public Enemy #1\1\'. Check the log for details.

This incident happened the first time ever.
I am using vlc media player version 1.1.5
Any suggestion?
