[vlc] Codec for .mid

[Armadillo]

I am looking for some support for a very popular sound format, MIDI.

The attached image is a screen capture of the error I receive anytime I 
try to load a .mid file into VLC.

Where can I obtain the related codec?
Where is it installed?

Thanks for any suggestions.
