[vlc] istalltion problem

 hi 
i used the vlc player for a long time . suddenly yesterday it crashed for some reason. i tried to report the bug. but do not know whether it is successful or not. then i downloaded the new version and try to install it. but it shows that this user account do not have the right to install the software. but i was using the only  admistrator account on that notebook. then i try to install some other software, which was installed successfully. i only vlc player is generating that message. i system is windows 7. please suggest.
