Sujet : [vlc] Question about IPTV

Hello

I am working in the implementation of an IPTV platform as a degree project. I'm using OpenIMSCore for that and vlc as streaming server.
My client is a Set Top Box, but STB's doesn't work with IMS.
For this reason I thought the best option was to transmit directly from the VLC to the STB, leaving the idea of the OpenIMSCore.

But now I want to know if is possible to integrate both options. On the one hand, implement all the iptv platform with pc's, connecting the clients to the ims core.
In the other hand connect directly the STB to the VLC server.

Exist any way to do this?

Thanks in Advance
