Dear all,

Before anyone shouts for a .gz in debian...
I've researched and found that it is okay to have a normal text file (in
debian and elsewhere).
And, by this I mean that it is valid to INSTALL() the files (as normal text
files) README, AUTHORS, NEWS as such and without gzip-ing and then
installing them.
*So, basically #113 can be ignored.*

Please comment, if a majority of us thinks that we should install them as
.gz.... otherwise, we close the ticket.
I can do that, then we'll have to check for gzip and run a custom command,
something like:

    ADD_CUSTOM_COMMAND(
        ... something here...
        COMMAND gzip <options> <files>
    )
    INSTALL (.....)

But please note that it is not necessary and as far as I've read the cmake
documentation and there is no in-built support for that.

Best Regards,
Rohit Yadav
