[vlmc-devel] problem in configure vlc

Hi,

I am trying to use this link to configure vlc :

to do configure of tat.bz2 file i find this tutorial :
http://www.tuxfiles.org/linuxhelp/softinstall.html

but  when i run ./configure, at the last i am getting this :     "
configure: error: Couldn't find DBus >= 1.0.0, install libdbus-dev ?"
after trying to install libdbus-dev, by sudo apt-get install libdbus-dev, i
get following error: "configure: error: Could not find lua. Lua is needed
for some interfaces (rc, telnet, http) as well as many other custom scripts.
Use --disable-lua to ignore this error."

help me.
