[vlmc-devel] Can't compile VLMC

Hi,
After looking at this site https://wiki.videolan.org/Building_VLMC/ I tried to install and compile VLMC. I am new to C/C++ programming and I have no experience in cmake or other tools. I do get this warning while "cmake .."
CMake Error: The source directory "/home/stasciya/git/vlmc" does not appear to contain CMakeLists.txt.
Specify --help for usage, or press the help button on the CMake GUI.

How do I solve this issue?
