I've read on forum but I didn't found any thing relative to my question so I wrote this message. Sorry to bother you.
I'm deploying a streaming LAN server, and I know that VLC can stream from DV-1394 (on linux platfom), but I'm not goot at Linux and My server are running Window XP SP2. 

Here my diagram:

DV (1394) ------- (Server - windows platfom)  ---------- LAN cable/wifi ------ (Client - desktop/laptop or wireless projector) .

So can you show me how to deploy it and can your program usefull in this case.
