PR: turn end of sentence to list

As we are listing projects that VideoLAN supports, a semicolon is
added to signify just that. An extra comma has also been introduced to
make the sentence slightly easier on the eyes.

PR: slight fixup of last paragraph

 - add missing "the"
 - do not repeat "is", instead replace latter usage with "also"
 - given that VLC is free of everything listed, "and" is more
   appropriate than "or".
 - Emphasize that the last sentence is about VLC, and not the
organization itself by using "The application" instead of "It is"
 - remove trailing whitespace
