[x264-devel] output file h.264 standard

hi

apart from simply viewing the output in ffmpeg is there a way of telling if
the file produces an h.264 compatible bitstream? the reason i want to know
is because normally i check my parallel implementations by cmp to the
original. since i am working off Chang's multislice version i have been
doing that. my changes do though produce a different bitstream than his. it
does play, and to the human eye look the same as the original. so this leads
me back to my question of how to guarantee that my output is h.264
compatible
