is great to see the multithreaded version implemented and up dated, well 
done to all. does mean I have to re-port the code again to my system but a 
small price to pay to having the rate control and stat reporting correctly. 
it will also be good to see the bitrate vs. psnr graphs again for it, will 
try that tomorrow.

Well done! I've read the code. It's a better implementation.
I don't know how to contribute more to x264.
Anyway, I'm glad to do something more.
