[x264-devel] Re: [CinCVS] Cinelerra and vlc with x264 on x86_64

(Sorry for possibly broken threading, I'm not subscribed to either list)

I solved the problems with x264 & x86_64 & cinelerra with the following
patch: http://anssi.hopto.org/x264-315-x86_64fix.patch

and ./configuring x264 with --extra-cflags=-fpic --extra-asflags=-D__PIC__

We have now a working cinelerra-x86_64 rpm at PLF repository for
Mandriva Linux.
