[x264-devel] compile problem

Hi all.
 I tried to compile the code using ./configure & make on my machine and I
get the following error:
 nasm -f elf -o common/i386/dct-a.o common/i386/dct-a.asm
make: nasm: Command not found
make: *** [common/i386/dct-a.o] Error 127
 Can someone advise as to what I am missing here?
