[x264-devel] x264 decoder?

Hi all,

Has any tried the decoder part of x264 (like x264_decode_*)? Is it
functional? If not, can we build an H.264-compliant decoder using the frame
reconstruction path within the encoder?

I am interested in extracting out H.264/AVC *decoder* for performance
benchmarking purpose. (I found that libavcodec in ffmpeg was rather messy
because of other codecs.)

Does anyone have an idea on this?
