ok, thanks!
And do you know how can I obtain the x264-XXX-install.exe?

You could see the "x264-H264/AVC encoder" in the GraphEdit or in the VirtualDub if you install the "x264vfw.inf". Then you could encode some file to the h264 file. You can not do that if you do not install it. That is to say you install the one h264 encoder into your windows system.
You could learn more vfw information from the "Video for Windows" in the MSDN.
2006/9/18, Laura Arnaiz <laura_arn at yahoo.es>: Thanks, now it works!!
But now a have another problem, I don't know exactly what I have to do to install the x264vfw. What I do is right click in "x264vfw.inf" and select install but nothing happens!!! (it appears a progress bar but after that nothing)
Someone knows what I have to do?

Hi,Laura
You should put the "libx264.lib" to the path which is idental to the "output file name" in the "link" option. You should check them. I think you could compile successfully if you put the "libx264.lib" to the right path.
2006/9/8, Laura Arnaiz <laura_arn at yahoo.es>: I have compiled "libx264" first successfully and I have the libx264.lib and also I have compiled the "x264vfw" project but when I compile the "x264" project I have these errors.
I have the "libx264.lib" in the followings paths:
build/win32/bin
vfw/build/win32/bin
Maybe I must have libx264.lib in another path.
Thanks for your response

Hi, Laura
I think the application does not found the realization of those function from what you said. You must compile the project "libx264" firstly. It is the static lib which includes the main functions. The project "x264" is only application. So you could compile the project "x264" after compile the lib successfully.
