Hello Mathieu,

it's unlikely that I/O is the bottleneck in this case. I benchmarked the
I/O performance of the supercomputer with cp as follows:

time cp input_1920x1080_512.y4m output_cptest.y4m

The copy process requires about 4.5 seconds (an effective bandwidth of
350 mb/s for file to file transfers), so there should be plenty of room
for improvement. :-)
