[x264-devel] Re: x264 and 8 cores

Hi, thanks for answering,
what I noticed is that I have longer time for encoding the same video I 
encode with a dual core machine with -threads 2.
The avs is not very demanding, basically it just use DirectShowsource, 
BicubicResize and ConvertYV12.

I'm using a base profile, I just wanted to know if there's a particular 
patch or version to use of x264 for the 8 core system.
