[x264-devel] shakiness/jumpiness when using bframe?

I'm doing a 2 pass with bitrate of 128
settings are borrowed from MeGui config of "insane" profile quality
--stats stats --ref 16 --mixed-refs --no-fast-pskip --bframes 16 --b-pyramid
--b-rdo --bime --weightb --direct auto --filter -2,-1 --subme 7 --trellis 2
--partitions p8x8,b8x8,i4x4,i8x8 --8x8dct --vbv-maxrate 10000 --me esa
--threads auto --thread-input --progress --no-dct-decimate



Is there a reason that having the bframes parameter would cause shakiness in
the video? When I remove the bframes parameter, the video plays back fine
and smooth.
