[x264-devel] Suggestion

I have been reading your posts for quite some time. I really want to be a coder like you. I have been reading some books about video coding but , unfortunately, I still can not understand so much things from your posts. Could you please sincerely suggest me a starting point to begin as soon as possible? Could you please quide me? Thank you.
