[x264-devel] x264 build fails on mac

hi

i been searching for hours, but had no luck getting getting x264 to
build on my mac pro 10.5.8

error:
_lame_set_mode", referenced from:
      _MP3lame_encode_init in libavcodec.a(libmp3lame.o)
ld: symbol(s) not found
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [x264] Error 1


rebuilt faac, faad2 and lame

uninstalled and delete all files i could find (that doesn't mean i got them all

this is all been tried with a clean
./configure

but going slowly crazy trying to figure this one out!
