This is the forty-fourth x264 development newsletter. This is a
regular email containing updates on fixes and improvements in the most
recent x264 push, along with updates on what's coming next. Previous
versions can be found in the mailing list archives.

Fixes:

Fix a possible crash in SSIM asm on x86_64.

Fix frame-packing==5 on certain decoders.

Fix b-pyramid + frame-packing==5.

Fix incorrect VBV row predictor addressing (may improve VBV).

Fix SSE3 code in an SSE2 function in high bit depth.

Fix AVC-Intra compatibility with Avid TransferManager.

Disable i8x8 in lossless, since I implemented it slightly incorrectly
and some decoders didn't work right with it.

Improvements:

Various build script cleanups and improvements.

Support MSVC 2013 Update 2 for building x264.

Use newer LSMASH API functions for mp4 muxing.
