[x264-devel] Does x264 support SMP (Symmetric Multi-Processing) parallelism?

Dear all,
Could someone tell me if x264 support SMP (Symmetric Multi-Processing)
parallelism? How to enable it?
I have some tests on my server (two intel xeon e5 2670 processors, each
processor with 8 cores), results
show that x264 can't take advantage of SMP (all threads running on only one
processor).
