[x264-devel] GPU or FPGA

Hello Martin,


I guess there have a OpenCL code inside, it may both GPU and FPGA based.


However, the x264 is encoder, the RDO path made long dependency link, so I guess GPU is not good enough.


Moreover, the FPGA is complicated system, it is not easy to say, for example, when you implement most bottleneck module in hardware, it much faster than software x264 with good compress quality, but it is time expensive project.
