[x264-devel] does h264/x264 support HDR

10 bit is a requirement for HDR, together with bt2020 and optional metadata
depending on your usecase (pq/hlg)
x264 supports setting smpte2084 and arib-b67 transfers and bt2020 color
space and is 10 bit, the only missing piece is setting metadata for pq
(smpte2086)
so for HLG, hdr is fully supported by x264, for HDR10 someone needs to
provide a patch to set the optional metadata
