I just re-tested with latest HEAD and it seems to be working fine for me:

> V/VLC/LibVLC(14871): Initializing LibVLC
> I/VLC/LibVLC/Util(14871): machine = arm
> I/VLC/LibVLC/Util(14871): arch = v7
> I/VLC/LibVLC/Util(14871): fpu = false
> D/VLC/JNI/main(14871): Using deblocking level 3
> D/VLC/JNI/main(14871): Using network caching of 20000 ms
> D/VLC/JNI/main(14871): Chroma set to ""
> D/VLC/JNI/main(14871): Subtitle encoding set to ""
> I/VLC/JNI/main(14871): LibVLC initialized: 0x5e740f88

I followed [1] this guide to compile libvlc two weeks ago. I did it again
right now and it is just the same.

Maybe this compile.sh script is not downloading the last VLC version? It
seems to be downloading the version with the hash 75cc1f0e. I'm a bit lost
here, sorry.

Thanks by your patience.

Jorge.
