I'm curious, what do you mean by raw diseqc?
DiSEqC in dvblast seems pretty much the same as scan-s2, except the 2.X
support.
~$ dvblast -h
-S --diseqc satellite number for diseqc (0: no diseqc, 1-4, A or B)
-k --uncommitted port number for uncommitted diseqc (0: no uncommitted
diseqc, 1-4)
usage: scan-s2 [options...] [-c | initial-tuning-data-file]
scan-s2 doesn't do frequency scans, hence it needs initial
tuning data for at least one transponder/channel.
...
-s N use DiSEqC switch position N (DVB-S only) (-S option in dvblast)
-S N use DiSEqC uncommitted switch position N (DVB-S only) (-k
option in dvblast)
-r sat move DiSEqC rotor to satellite location, e.g. '13.0E' or '1.0W'
-R N move DiSEqC rotor to position number N
