I still see:
 - version.sh . Why do we need that?
 - misc/ . Do we find a better name or do we keep that?
 - Why do we keep a very old spec file?
 - README, this is totally outdated, no? Suggestions?

I need advise on:
 - version number for next release
 - libtool version for the .so
