[libdvdnav-devel] libdvdread: Shouldn't libdvdread fail (gracefully) when asked to open an encrypted DVD

When you try to play a DVD on a system with has libdvdread but not
libdvdcss, you see the
following warning

"libdvdread: Encrypted DVD support unavailable"

Then libdvdread ploughs ahead with trying to open the DVD, scrambled
or unscrambled.

Shouldn't libdvdread check if a DVD is scrambled and fail gracefully if it is?
