 From IRC:

[Wednesday 11 August 2010] [20:03:41] <mirsal> I'm personally fine with
object identifier, but Ian's point that it makes implementations a
little more complex for the only benefit of correctness
[Wednesday 11 August 2010] [20:03:49] <mezcalero> i.e. have one entry
point, one player and one track list
[Wednesday 11 August 2010] [20:04:17] <mirsal> mezcalero, well, I'd
rather choose the futureproof solution here
[Wednesday 11 August 2010] [20:04:25] <mezcalero> hmm, how does it make
anything more complex? just take the id and prefix /foobar/ to it and it
is an object path

It does seem strange (and confusing) to me to use object paths for
things that aren't exported to the bus.
