Hi,
I wrote a wrapper shell script for multicat to do loop playback.
multicat will NOT do any remultiplexing to
streams.
It can stream the streams just like what the field headend does.
So multicat is more suitable for test purpose than VLC.
But for test purpose, loop playback is usually needed, so I wrote one wrapper script.
Hope it can be useful for someone.
#!/bin/bash
echo '--------------------------------------------------'
echo '| multicat-loop 1.0.0'
echo '| Wrapper shell script for loop playback purpose.'
echo '| 2012, No.9'
echo '--------------------------------------------------'
OPTIONS="$@"
function sigint_handler {
echo "Interrupted by Ctrl + C"
exit
}
trap sigint_handler SIGINT
i=0
for (( ; ; ))
do
i=`expr $i + 1`
echo "#$i multicat $OPTIONS"
multicat $OPTIONS
RETVAL=$?
[ $RETVAL -ne 0 ] && exit $?
done
Regards!
