Hi,
I want to mention some problems i had with this version of vlc
1)
When i make vlc -vvv rtsp://real.prohosting.com/encoder/galaxy.rm
(this link it's playable with Real One player so is correct)
i get nothing and messages:
livedotcom error: PLAY failed No RTSP session is currently in progress
avi error: cannot peek()
ts_dvbpsi error: cannot peek()
ts error: cannot peek()
flac error: cannot peek()
id3tag error: cannot peek()
id3 error: cannot peek()
a52sys error: cannot peek
id3tag error: cannot peek()
id3 error: cannot peek()
mpga error: cannot peek
mpgv error: cannot peek
ps error: cannot peek()
main error: no suitable demux module for
`rtsp/live://real.prohosting.com/encoder/galaxy.rm'
main error: thread -1: cond_destroy failed at src/misc/objects.c:349 (1:)
2)
With previous version that supports mms protocol i am doing
vlc -vvv mms://fastreal.fastweb.it/rainewshigh
:sout=#duplicate{dst=std{access=mmsh,mux=ts,url=139.91.70.64:1234/high.asf}}
And then i can see from the Windows Media player the streamed live video in
mms://139.91.70.64/high.asf
But when i do the same thing with the latest version of vlc and try to see
the new streamed live video i get only the audio and no video.A sample from
the messages i get is....

Could anybody tell me anything about it...?
And especially i want to know what happening with RTSP support..
Finally i want to ask something...
If finally everything is ok with the support of RTSP protocol, can i be able
to transcode an rtsp streaming video and stream it again..?
Like this i do for mms (vlc -vvv
mms://fastreal.fastweb.it/rainewshigh:sout=#transcode{vcodec=DIV3,vb=100,aco
dec=mp3,ab=96,channels=2}:duplicate{dst=std{access=mmsh,mux=asfh,url=139.91.
70.64:1233/low.asf}}
)
Thanks in advance!
