The 'S' in DVB-S stands for "satellite" and ASI stands for "Asynchronous
Serial Interface". The DVB-S has normally QPSK modulation scheme but ASI
has different modulation scheme. Therefore, the answer for your question
is "No". But, There should be adaptor board or professional IRD that can
convert DVB-S signal into DVB-ASI one.

Subject: [streaming] DVB-S and DVB ASI
Hi All,
Could somebody explain differences between DVB-S and DVB ASI input.
Could I use DVB ASI input for receiving digital TV signal from satellite
dish?
Regards,
Vlad
