An IGMP capable switch will manage traffic such that the network will not be
continuously occupied by the total multicast traffic. Also you need to be
carefull when unicasting UDP traffic. Since UDP is connectionless, if the
destination point is disconnected and the transmitter is not aware of the
disconnection, then the switch will age out the destination MAC address and
flood the network with the unicast transmission.
