Hello.
I'm using cvs version of vls 0.5.5 (2003/09/12) for streaming analogic
tuner.
My operating system is Linux Debian (sid) on kernel 2.4.22.
I've compiled vls with options --enable-v4l and --with-ffmpeg like as
written in the How-to.
My client is a computer with Windows XP operating system who runs VLC 0.6.2
When I run vls in xshell, I can hear tuner audio on my server but I
don't want it. I want to hear tuner on my windows xp VLC. And it's not.
On my client, I can't hear anything at all. I don't understand why...
This is my audio part of my "tuner input" in vls.cfg:

audiodevice   = "/dev/dsp"       # sound device (try /dev/dsp<x>
audiocompression = "mp3"         # mp2, mp3 or ogg
audiobitrate = "64" # audio bitrate in kbps
audiofreq     = "16000"     # 16000, 22050, 24000, 32000, 44100, 48000
audiochannel  = "2"              # 1=mono, 2=stereo
audiomute     = "false"

I've tried a lot of change in this part like as to modify
audiocompression, audiobitrate or audiofreq but there is nothing to do,
there is an audio echo on server and not on client.
So, there is another thing who's strange: the -vv (verbose) argument of
vls command always tells me audiocompression is "mp2" even when it's
"mp3". Is it a bug ?

Is there anybody who can help me to resolve my problem, please ?
