[streaming] Choppy sound when streaming from VLC 0.8.1 to VLC 0.8.1 player

Hi,
My Windows 0.8.1 player seems to have serious problems resampling the sound
streamed from the same version VLC server running on FC2 Linux capturing from a
Leadtek WinFast 2000 XP Deluxe tuner card via V4L. The video is fine and there
is plenty of LAN bandwidth.

It is probably just my configuration, but I have tried lots of codecs etc.
Tried the SVN and 0.7.2 versions (client and server) with the same problem.
Also tried different Windows 2000 machines.

Logs are attached for the client and server showing command line start for the
server.

I haven't seen this problem on the forum but could not search the online
archives. The page at http://developers.videolan.org/lists.html contains a
broken link to the "online archives" at
http://www.via.ecp.fr/ml/videolan/index-en.html

Thanks in advance,
Ralph.
