Clearly im going to be a bit biased as far as STB's go ...

But have a look at www.aminocom.com for a wide selection of STB's

Subject: [streaming] Question about settop box and streaming

Hi,

I have several questions regarding the use of a streaming video from one
central point to several (PC) screens. The goa is to broadcast
commercial in a store.
Of course I'm looking for a good solution in term of price (of course)
and implementation time.

I think there are different solutions using TV professionnal broadcast
(Video based) and IP (PC based) broadcast.

I have a preference for the second one but I don't know for the moment
which one is better.

So my first question, which is the best architecture for this kind of
goal (broadcast from one point to several screens).
Which hardware solutions (especially for the settop boxes) I have to
choose ?
Which softwares I have to implement and where ?

Thanks for your help

Best regards
