For low-bit rates, it may depends on what you are streaming and
also the resolution. If there is not much action in the video,
i.e. presentations, lectures, ..., we have satisfactory results.

However, these are mainly my experience with mpeg4ip which uses
Quicktime to playback the video streams. It may be totally
different with another player, like vlc.
