Alot of work have been put into getting VLc to support the hauppauge PVR
cards better under directshow in windows. I have helped test it a lot my
self. And with the latest SVN version it works pretty good, especially the
channel selection and video quality have improved from crap to useable :)
If ur using 0.8.1 it will not work too great as u have experienced, instaid
I would recommend you to upgrade to newest hauppauge drivers (if u havent
already) and then try to download the svn version instaid and see if that
doesnt help.
If you still have the problem be sure to let the list know and we'll try to
help. Some log pastings especially would be relavant then.
