hello,
i'm trying to capture an analog tv signal with vlc.
i use avertv cardbus as a tv card, vlc 0.8.2beta2 for capturing,
and running on winxp sp2.
i can capture a/v using this commandline and it works fine:
vlc -vvv --extraintf="dummy" dshow:// :dshow-vdev="AVerMedia, AVerTV WDM
Video Capture (E500)" :dshow-adev="AVerMedia, AVerTV WDM Video Cap"
:dshow-size="176x144" :dshow-tuner-channel="48" :dshow-tuner-input="1"
:dshow-tuner-country="49" :dshow-config
but when i omit the last argument (:dshow-config) my pc crashes
immediately with a bluescreen :-(
is this a vlc bug or a bug in the vendors wdm drivers? it sucks, because
i would have to start vlc
directly from the commandline, but when using :dshow-config i have to
confirm some dialogs before
the capturing begins.
is there a solution for this? any guess? can i specify the options which
:dshow-config brings up
also through the commandline?
i'm desperate..
regards,
torben
