Hi Prasad,

Thanks for the input. However, if I compile with:

./configure --enable-dvb --disable-wxwindows --disable-skins2
--enable-dvbpsi --with-libdvb --disable-libcddb --disable-libcdio | grep
dvb

I get this output (not copied everything):

==========================
checking linux/dvb/version.h usability... no
checking linux/dvb/version.h presence... no
checking for linux/dvb/version.h... no
checking linux/dvb/frontend.h usability... no
checking linux/dvb/frontend.h presence... no
checking for linux/dvb/frontend.h... No
==========================

Adding --with-dvb=/opt/linux-dvb-apps-1.1.0 did the trick! Using the
command line you sent works perfectly!

Cheers,

Koen

Hi Koen,

    Currently I am working on what you are trying. I am quiet successful
with this work.

    I think you have not compiled vlc properly.
       You take the source file and ./configure with --enable-dvb
options and compile it.

       Try with the following command

       vlc -vvv --color -ttl 12 --ts-es-id-pid --program 1320 qpsk/ts:
--dvb-adapter=0 --dvb-frequency=12539000 --dvb-srate=27500000
         --dvb-voltage=18 --dvb-fec=3.

you should be able to see locally.
    And you should give correct frequency, symbol rate , polarity, fec.
    Now whatever frequecies I have set in command line option is BBC
program.

    I do know whether this wll catch from you country.

Thanks and Regards
Prasad.
