Hi,

I would like to buy an hi-quality mpeg2 or mpeg4 realtime encoding board to
use with VLC 0.8.1 on OSX 10.3.8.
I would like to use for streaming.
The first problem is I have found only 2 video cards that are able to
endode Mpeg2 in realtime on OSX:

http://www.optibase.com/Content.aspx?id=79#features

or

http://www.wiredinc.com/mediapressinfo.php

do you know if any MPEG4 card exists?

The second problem is I do not know if they works with videolan! :)

Do you have any ideas, experience, or advices for an hi-quality mpeg2 or
mpeg4 realtime board to use with videolan on OSX?

Thanks
Lorenzo
