[streaming] Color problem

Hi All,

        I am using Pixel View TV card.When I capture video from VLC
    I am not able to see the color in the clip.

And also I tried using the command
 vlc -vvv v4l:/dev/video0:norm=pal but I can see the color but vlc is crashing after few seconds.

Please let me know any options to be enabled to view the color picture.
