Hey Paolo,

Sorry it has been so long since you heard from me. I have been in and out of the hospital (more in than out), and didn't get to do much with the computer. Have moved my home a couple times, too. So I lost your email address, been waiting to hear from you.

I can look around. But I am so out of touch with the film and graphics industry, now, that I doubt that I can be of much help in that respect. Most of those that I knew, have retired now. I guess we kind of just lost touch with each other.

But, if you can get your hands on a few back copies of, EE Times, you should probably start taking serious consideration of the new chips and systems coming out the general public will never see. The magazine "Electronic Engineering Times", is the one I am talking about. Start a little bit of thinking towards "Holo Theater". It's not as far away as you may think. Ten, fifteen years, maybe. But just think about and prepare a niche for yourself. Then slam'em with your superior work. All kinds, not just the holographics.

That is about all I can do for you for right now. My old friends young replacements, don't have much time for us old guys in the business, because as they see it, we don't have much power in the industry anymore.

Take care and let me hear from you,
Harold

  Hi,
  I'd make a 'videolan'.
In input I have a videocamera (AXIS 2130 PTZ Network Camera), source video
is http-multipart (a flux of jpeg images). I use VLC and i'd write a module
because VLC don't support this format in input. Network can be unicast or
multicast and protocol is RTP.Is there some people which can help me?
  Thank you.
