[streaming] Problems streaming to a set-top-box

I'm having trouble streaming VoD media to a set-top-box made by
HansunTech (HS5000IP). I've set up the VLM session to be VoD (i.e. RTSP)
and put in an MPEG-2 PS source file.

The problem (I guess) originates in the fact that the set-top-box
requests a "RAW/RAW/UDP" transport - VLC responds with an 'OK' to that,
but it doesn't stream anything when a 'PLAY' request is sent by the
set-top-box. I tried this setup with a VLC client on the other end and
it worked. Trouble is, the VLC client requests "RTP/AVP" transport which
apparently works just fine.

Any pointers on where I should look for the problem? In case anybody is
