[streaming] Re: MPEG4 support

Hi kushal,

I'm using vlc on linux to stream and windows to recibe the stream, in the server i transcode using h264 (Mpeg 4 part 10 or AVC) and dont have any problem in the vlc client....

If you are using linux check that you have installed ffmpeg and if you can run ffplay file.mp4, and you watch the video i think that your vlc was complied without ffmpeg support, try compile the vlc with the option --enable-ffmpeg  and check ./configure --help to see others options.
