I don't understand how VLC client can be working for you guys when there
is code explicitly in the client (even in 0.8.5) which *rejects* servers
that don't have the identification string "Real" or "Helix". VLC Server
seems to have the identification string "VLC Server", so the client
*rejects* the server!!
I will try quicktime -- maybe it will work better. But you tell me 0.8.4a
works best as server, eh?
PS: I'm on Linux -- there shouldn't be a difference between Linux and
Windows but I am going so crazy I think I may try Windows next..
