[streaming] Meaning of i_pts_delay

Hi,

Can someone please tell me what i_pts_delay represents? it is present in
structure input_thread_t in file vlc_input.h and the comments say that it is
"internal caching common for all inputs" dont quite get its significance?


Another question is regarding vlc's support for dynamically loadable modules
as stated in the developer documentation? Could someone please elaborate on
this? Does vlc load any kernel modules dynamically?
