Thanks for your response. Could you please work with Julen and Iñaki (both are CC'ed to this mail) to clarify the situation and to achieve a result both parties can agree on and be proud of? As far as I can see, these differences should be limited to a reasonable number of strings, so the effort needed should be limited.

VideoLAN is neutral on this matter. We want our users to be able to use and to fully understand VLC's interface, so we cannot randomly choose either of your translations. Thus, it is best for our users if you joined your efforts.
